GORGOS
Florin Gorgos is a composer and music producer, based in capital of music - Vienna, Austria.
His music has been performed at venues such as MuTH, Budapest Music Center, and Porgy & Bess Vienna, Brick-15, and MDW among others. His passion for film music has led to collaborations on an international level, with excerpts of his work featured in venues such as Burgkino Vienna, Dotdotdot Festival Vienna, Thalmässing Film Festival in Germany, Astra Film Festival in Romania, as well as at the Kellen Gallery in New York. More than this, his music production expertise allowed him to share his vision and skills with companies such as : MusikVergnügen, AmoreStudios, Vienna Symphonic Library, Vienna Music Institute.
Among his recent projects, he released an EP with Sounds of Servus, had his music produced into full scaled symphonic production at Synchron Stage and empowered by RedBull Media House with album ORCHESTRALS I, completed the music for an upcoming feature film MMM (OWH Studios), all while working on a upcoming solo album and composing for few a (ND) Music Library Collections.
In the meanwhile, Florin is active as well in multiple interdisciplinary projects, ranging from music for theater - such as the austrian premiere of Das Lebewohl - from E. Jelinek, to the realm of interactive music, in which Florin is exploring the musical possibilities in the context of AR through a series of projects started in 2023, called iZwischenspiel.
Being a promoter of fusion music, inovation and blending music elements from different cultures and backgrounds, Florin continues to refine his sound signature while actively working and collaborating with different artists and productions around the world.
